The new Rustan's Supermarket opened today at Ayala Cebu and it had a good blend of items from all over the world in comparison to most of the other generic food stores in Cebu.
But the trip wore me out again with no seats to rest after shopping and waiting for the others to finish. Such a self defeating mall who wants shoppers but they don't want you to linger a second more than necessary in contrast to the USA malls where its a community friendly place to visit and wait.
The few seats still left in Ayala were jam packed today and most of those had uncomfortable no back seating. I remember the good ole days when benches were even provided outside the mall and lots of them inside to make it a great malling experience for everyone.
It's fine to have a beautiful mall but why not make it comfortable for visitors to wait and extend their shopping experience?
CONTACT PHILIPPINE AYALA CEBU MALL AND ASK THEM TO PROVIDE MORE SEATING WITH BACKS FOR SENIORS AND MAKE THE MALLS A PEOPLE FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE WHERE YOU CAN LINGER AND SHOP IN LEISURE RATHER THAN SHOP AND GET OUT.
